- 1 loaf day-old bread cubed
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: chopped nuts or cranberries
- Topping:
- ¼ cup flour
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- ¼ cup cold butter cubed
Prep bread and mix custard. Pour over bread and soak.
Refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight.
Add streusel topping and bake at 350°F for 45–55 minutes.
Cool, slice, and serve with whipped cream or syrup.
